Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance as a form of payment for services?
At this time, Health & Wellness Aligned is not partnered with any insurance carriers. However, we do offer out-of-network benefits. Check with your therapist to see if out-of-network benefits work best for you.
How do I know that you will keep everything I say confidential?
Protecting privacy is extremely important. Health & Wellness Aligned is committed by law, and by our professional ethics code to not disclose any information about you to anyone without your permission. In addition, all telehealth software and communication platforms are HIPAA compliant and VPN encrypted for your safety.
How often should I meet with my therapist?
Great question! Most clients start off meeting with their therapist once a week. In my experience, this is the most effective frequency in order to get the best results from counseling. Starting off with meetings that are less frequent means slower progress, and backtracking in between sessions.
